Better filtration, UV-C sterilization, and humidity control. Three things that actually improve indoor air quality — without the gimmicks the rest of the industry sells.
Most "air quality" upgrades sold to homeowners are overpriced products that don’t move the needle. We install three things that actually work: better filtration, UV-C sterilization, and humidity control. That’s it.
Replaces your standard 1" filter with a 4-5" pleated media filter housed in a dedicated cabinet. Captures particles 30× smaller than a standard furnace filter, including pollen, dust mites, smoke, and most bacteria. $650–$1,200 installed. Lasts 6 months.
Installed inside the air handler near the evaporator coil. UV-C kills mold, bacteria, and viruses as air passes through. Particularly effective for homes with allergy or asthma sufferers. $400–$700 installed.
Bypass HEPA filtration that captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. Much more aggressive than media cleaners. $1,800–$3,200 installed. Recommended for serious allergy or chemical sensitivity issues.
Cedar Grove winters dry indoor air to 15-20% relative humidity, which causes dry skin, respiratory irritation, static electricity, and damage to wood furniture and floors. Bypass humidifier mounted on the supply plenum maintains 35-45% RH automatically. $550–$950 installed.
For homes with humidity above 60% in summer (common in older slab-foundation homes), a whole-home dehumidifier improves comfort and prevents mold growth. Aprilaire E100 series typical. $1,400–$2,200 installed.
Energy recovery ventilators bring in fresh outdoor air without losing your conditioned air. Required by code for tightly-built newer homes. Improves CO2 levels and removes VOCs. $1,800–$3,500 installed.
The HVAC industry has a long list of "indoor air quality" products that are mostly marketing. We don’t sell them.
